Equine Nutrition Consultations

Evidence-Based Nutritional Support for Optimal Equine Health

Nutrition plays a critical role in every aspect of equine health, performance, and well-being. Whether supporting a performance horse, managing weight, addressing a metabolic condition, or improving overall condition, an evidence-based approach to feeding ensures your horse receives the right balance of nutrients for their specific needs.

As a Level 5 Qualified Equine Nutritionist, I provide professional, data-driven nutritional assessments and tailored feeding plans designed to optimise your horse’s health, performance, and long-term wellbeing.

What to Expect from a Nutrition Consultation

Each consultation includes a detailed review of your horse’s current management, workload, health status, and dietary intake. The assessment is supported by accurate data collection and professional evaluation.

Your consultation includes:

  • Comprehensive dietary analysis – evaluation of current feed, forage, and supplements

  • Body condition and weight assessment – using a calibrated weighbridge (for in-person visits)

  • Nutrient balance review – identification of deficiencies, excesses, and areas for optimisation

  • Individualised diet formulation – tailored recommendations based on scientific principles and practical application

  • Full written report – including data, nutritional calculations, and structured feeding recommendations

Consultation Options

To ensure accessibility and precision, consultations are available in a range of formats:
